Dubai’s Global Village is preparing to host its landmark Season 30 when it opens to guests on October 15, with a host of new attractions, updated experiences, and updated entertainment for guests young and old.
Adventure into the Legendary Dragon Kingdom
One of the most exciting additions this season is the Dragon Kingdom, an interactive, story-driven adventure where guests will go through 11 uniquely themed rooms, each with storytelling and adventure. Guests will enter the mystical Blackstone Hollow, where they join Ignis (the last Dragon), with his lost powers, in solving puzzles and indications to earn them back. The guests will enter uniquely themed rooms that take them through enchanted, glowing forest to dazzling caverns of flames, mesmerizing guests with visual stimulation, unique storytelling, and interactive adventures.
Explore the All-New Gardens of the World
The Gardens of the World will add a dose of nature and a dose of art with breathtaking floral displays and miniature world landmarks to enjoy. From the Egypt Pavilion to the Iran Pavilion, guests can find a sanctuary to walk, relax, and capture photos for Instagram.
Guests can also collect memories with the new S30 passports, which will feature stamping stations throughout each pavilion; a fun, interactive way to explore the world in one place – especially for families. Interactive screens will also guide guests throughout the park seamlessly.
Remarkable Improvements and New Experiences
This season, Global Village has been upgraded in several areas. The Main Stage area has a completely new layout and increased capacity and will feature a spectacular lineup of live entertainment and cultural shows.
The iconic Dragon Lake, which holds the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest underwater display screen, is also being upgraded. Guests will experience a new screen with crisp, clear images, while the iconic dragon sculpture will also feature exciting new fire effects; simply stunning.
Updated landscaping across the venue will give it a fresh, lively feel, and will be joined by new video screens at the ticket counters, LED signs for direction, and welcoming new arches at each of the Sharjah and Abu Dhabi entrances. The Sharjah Tunnel will reveal a shimmering new theme filled with colour and immersive designs.
Food and Culture Highlights
Food lovers will be spoilt for choice as Fiesta Street develops, building on the excitement at Global Village with its 200 restaurants and food outlets. Renamed Dessert District, the refurbished Railway Market will unite vintage, nostalgia, and stylish modernism for the ultimate sweet escape. The trending Indian Chaat Bazaar returns, but in a completely different format and theme.
Adding culture to the park, Happiness Street will launch a brilliant new canopy, while the iconic Road of Asia returns as Asia Boulevard to celebrate the cultures, tastes, and arts of the Asian continent.
As the start of Season 30 approaches, Global Village promises to provide an exceptional blend of entertainment, creativity, and global culture to ensure every visit is simply magical.
