Luck smiled on four UAE residents in the Big Ticket Series 273 draw, with a total of Dh390,000 awarded. From homemakers to professionals, all winners shared a common belief that perseverance pays off.
One of the winners, 48-year-old housewife Sheikhnasseb Sh Babasahe, has been entering the Big Ticket draw every month for the last three years. Her patience paid off with a Dh110,000 win. “When I got the call, I was overwhelmed,” she said, expressing her hopes of using the winnings to buy a car. She remains determined to keep trying her luck.
Another winner, 35-year-old Suhail Ahmed, a brand promoter from Karnataka, won Dh100,000. “I was asleep when the call came in, but lucky for me, the ringer was on,” he recalled. He plans to buy a car and surprise his wife with something special. 
65-year-old Shofiul Azam, a painting laborer from Bangladesh, won Dh80,000. He has been entering the draw alongside his brother and friends for years. He plans to share the prize with them and use the remaining amount to complete his home renovation.
42-year-old Shaiju Karayat, a sales executive from Kerala, also won Dh100,000. He’s been engaging with a group of friends for the past decade. “This is the first time I’ve won,” he said, “and I still can’t believe it.” Shaiju intends to share the prize money with his friends.
