Emirates, Mubadala Among Top UAE Workplaces; LinkedIn Ranks stc and Aramco in Saudi Arabia

Dubai: Emirates Group and Mubadala have earned spots in LinkedIn’s latest list of Top 15 workplaces in the UAE, recognized as prime employers for professionals seeking career growth. Also making it to the prestigious list are Majid Al Futtaim and the UAE operations of Alshaya Group.

Foreign corporations dominate the UAE rankings, with major players like Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey, Mastercard, and Procter & Gamble taking the lead. LinkedIn’s annual rankings offer a snapshot of the most attractive workplaces in the UAE, where the influence of consulting firms, particularly Boston Consulting Group, is notable. This shift marks the growing prominence of consulting in the professional ecosystem, with BCG rising to the top spot after securing 6th place last year.

In Saudi Arabia, the focus shifts to local champions such as the telecom giant stc and energy leader Aramco. Both companies secured the first and second spots, respectively, showcasing their leadership in the country’s workforce landscape. The inclusion of healthcare giants like King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Bupa in the Saudi rankings reflects the sector’s resurgence, with both institutions securing spots in the top 15.

LinkedIn’s Nabila Rahhal noted a marked evolution in industry trends. “This year’s rankings highlight a diverse business environment in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with 14 different industries represented, underscoring the region’s vibrant and evolving market.”

The rankings are based on eight key factors, including growth opportunities, skill development, and overall stability within the company. Companies considered for the list must have at least 5,000 global employees, with 500 or more in the respective country.

As the UAE and Saudi Arabia continue to solidify their positions as hubs for global innovation, the rankings also illustrate the region’s ongoing transformation, creating a dynamic environment for talent to flourish across industries from healthcare to tech.
