Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has emulated the UAE community’s spirit of Arab solidarity and sportsmanship, lauding a Saudi championship title in the AFC Champions League Two, awarded to the winners in the final league round.
H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has received the Sharjah FC team in a royal reception after they created history at Zabeel Stadium on Tuesday with their AFC Champions League Two title. In recognition to this phenomenal achievement, His Highness gifted the club Dhs20 million.
This honour is in line with the ruler’s efforts to enrich the sports culture in the emirate and encourage and support exceptional talent. The competition was well respected and was a significant occasion in the development of UAE football while highlighting the significance of sporting success both regionally and internationally.
