Wynn Al Marjan, a $3.9 billion integrated gaming resort under development in Ras Al Khaimah, is set to create more than 7,500 jobs across a wide range of positions as part of its large-scale recruitment drive. The resort is slated to open in March 2027, but the hiring process will begin around September 2026, approximately six months before its grand opening.
Michael Weaver, Chief Communication Officer at Wynn Resorts, shared that the resort will create jobs in multiple sectors, ranging from room attendants, restaurant workers, and bartenders to positions in accounting, finance, IT, and marketing. Wynn Al Marjan will also employ staff for its gaming facility, with recruitment for these positions expected to begin in late 2026, ensuring that employees are fully trained ahead of the opening.
“We’re creating a small city with diverse job opportunities, ranging from frontline service jobs to specialized roles in marketing and finance,” said Weaver. “The resort will cater to both local staycationers and international tourists, and we are focused on training our staff well in advance to ensure an exceptional experience for all our guests.”
The hotel, which will feature 22 restaurants, 1,500 hotel rooms, a spa, and a marina, is the first in the UAE to receive a commercial gaming operator’s license from the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). The resort will combine a world-class gaming experience with a wide array of other amenities, including entertainment, dining, and relaxation options.
Weaver emphasized that gaming is just one element of the resort experience, with guests coming to enjoy a variety of offerings, including a beach club, nightclub, and a show created specifically for the location. The gaming options available at Wynn Al Marjan will be determined by the UAE’s gaming regulations.
With the goal of attracting a global audience, Wynn Al Marjan aims to offer a unique and immersive experience. “Tourists visiting from around the world, especially from Europe, India, and Russia, will stay longer here compared to other destinations. The resort’s design is tailored to accommodate longer stays with ample amenities for comfort,” said Weaver.
In addition to creating job opportunities and enhancing tourism, Wynn Al Marjan also emphasizes responsible gaming. Wynn Resorts is committed to ensuring its employees are trained annually to identify and assist guests with gaming-related issues.
As competition grows in the UAE’s expanding gaming market, Wynn Resorts remains confident that its world-class facilities and strong regulatory framework will contribute to the success of its resort. With the UAE positioned as a major business hub, Wynn is excited about its future in the region.
